Not really a stupid question. Same round, they look similar. I asked the same thing when I bought mine, so it must actually be a fairly smart question

Would be kinda cool since ak mags are so expensive. Anyone with a SKS-D could get some cheaper readily avail mags. Too bad.

Actually thinking about it now, it would prolly just bump up the price of the mags for the 858 too. In that case I am relieved cuz I need to buy a pile of em for the zombie apocalypse.

CZ/VZ mags have a little bump in the front of them which makes them not interchange with AK mags .... So no ...

Actually there is one part that is interchangeable between the 858 and the SKS...The 858 sling fits the SKS quite nicely.
