stupid questions about armalite ar

Generally Armalite doesn't retail stripped lowers (except lately), they sell Eagle for that. Also if I'm correct Armalite barrels are chrome lined and Eagle are not. I'm sure someone from Wolverine will be along to correct me soon :D
 
Eagle arms was the orginal name to what Armalite has become. They started calling themself Armalite after they purchase the right to the name and the logo from Fairchild. Eagle arms lowers at one time were made by LMT.
 
Merely google "Eagle Arms Armalite History". All of that information is great reading. You'll be surprised at the names behind Eagle Arms, Armalite, Lewis Machine & Tool, etc. :D
 
In my experience of owning both Eagle Arms and Armalite lowers; both are great. I have built up BOTH lower receivers with parts kits and I've been happy as heck. No nasty surprises, and some great scores at the Service Rifle matches with BOTH platforms. That's only MY 2 aftertax cents worth!!

I'm too old to deploy with any of these 2 brands, but frankly, I would not hesitate to bring them to some hot and sandy locations (on contract, of course) ;)
