Hi,
I have a cheap Bushnell 4x on my Enfield and something doesn't seem right. I adjusted the eyepiece focus ( look at clouds in the sky then quickly look through scope and adjusted focus until crosshairs were sharp). But, when I was at the range today I noticed that when looking through the scope, if I focused my eyes on the target the cross hairs were out of focus, and vice versa. I thought this was wierd, so I pulled out my .22 with a Bushnell 4-9x Sportsman and found that I could see the target and the crosshairs perfectly and simultaneously without refocusing my eyes.
So, I went through the whole range of eyepiece focus looking for a proper setting , like on the .22 , and was unable to find a setting that resulted in proper target/hairs focus.
I'm I being punished for buying a $50 scope?
