SU-16 in 300blk

Not my cup of tea(the cartridge), but apparently going to be offered in the future.
Edit: I shouldn't speak so soon. 10rd lar15 magazines full of .30cal ammo can't be all bad.

If Ruger would do a Mini-14 in .300 Blackout I think that would be a better buy. I can't get by the looks of a Kel-Tec no matter how hard I try.

Is the caliber change a simple barrel swap? Or does the gas system need to be reworked?
