Sorry if this has been asked I tryed searching. I've been looking at a su16a and came across the su16c is this rifle still non restricted in Canada or is it too short folded? If non restricted any site sponsers have them?
 
Last I checked a few months ago the SU16f was the only one approved for Canada, because the C model are capable of firing when folded.
Anyhow the F model is nonrestricted. I think P&D Enterprises had some not long ago, maybe they still do.
 
The SU16C would be restricted, as the barrel length is only 16" also the OAL when folded(and can still fire) is under 26"(25.5" according to website) so that would also make it restricted.
Also the barrel is threaded, which is another reason it would likely not be exported. That's based on American export policy.

The charlie stock itself, would be OK on a SU16F. But no charlie stocks seem to have made it into Canada.

Lots of sponsors stock the SU16F, but they might be out of stock. I seen some in the Equipment Exchange not long ago.

So the SU16F with a charlie stock would be non-restricted.

When in the world is someone bringing them in? They'll sell like hotcakes... I should ask my cousin to order me one since Kel Tec won't ship out to non-distributors.
 
These guys ship to Canada, I ordered an ar15 stock style adapter from them for my SU16. The one without the stock, came to a little over $100 with shipping.
The one with the stock in Canada costs $200. For some reason the 'adapter only' isn't in Canada either, so I had to look to the states for a company that' would sell it.
I had luck with these guys re: dbm conversions for howa rifles.
Currently my adapter for my SU16 hasn't shipped yet, but I don't see an issue arising.

Anyways, they have the charlie stock also, but it's over $100, so I don't know if they can ship it. I don't want to waste money trying on a stock I don't want, even though I could resell it on the ee for double :evil:
