Su-22 and Su-16 parts questin.

Question to those who have both of these rifles. Will SU-22 accept the SU-16 factory forend/bipod.. ? or the gas systems are different length..?

Totally different. Wish they were the same!
The aftermarket rails wont swap either. Gurrr

Correct only the models with the front sight located on the gas port will work with the SU22

Only thing that works with the su22 Dmitri is the pistolgrip stock adapter and that is pretty much it.
Still a very reliable and fun non restricted plinker.
I LOVE mine!!!!!!
