So I've had my SU-22 for atleast half a year now. It was one of the first batchs into Canada. I've upgraded the stock to the pistol grip. Also have the AM180 drum mag and AR conversion for it. 275 round drum.
Have had no issues with it, cleaning is a snap. Lighting the trigger was a one night job and simple fallowing youtube.
I've put almost 3500 rounds though it and love it.
Yes it's expensive for a 22 but that's partly do to Vault.
Shoots almost everything but yellowjackets.
Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with theirs?
What are your thoughts on your gun?
I'm very happy I sold both my mossy tacticals and bought the SU-22.

The next time I shoot I'll post it and the distance. I use the cheapest ammo FYI.
AE 38g and 40g, I have dynapoint and mini mag, maybe I'll do a comparison.

Lets see some pics! I'm gun-money-poor right now, but I've always liked the look of the SU-22. My Marlin 795 cost me $100 and shoots VERY straight. Hard for anything to compare value-wise but still...I like it!

Yep it's completely legal. You buy the AM 180 drum mag from the US. There are three different sizes. I bought the largest 275.
The conversion was the BIG cost $200, from Bazooka Bros. Works fine though.
The drum loader and stand was well worth the money and makes loading faster.

No just the conversion, got the Am 180 drum mag from E&L manufacturing.

There is two vids of me shooting it on youtube.
type in 275 drum mag
I'm shooting AE 38g and it fails to feed sometimes, they recommend mini mag and I did try it and it works much better but groups the same and costs more than twice the price of AE.

I thru a nice cheap Tasco Red Dot on my SU, once zeeerowed it shot 3 shot groups that I could cover with a two dollar coin at 40 yds with mystery gun show 22 ammo in old Imperial plastic boxes ha! I really like dots, I have three now, at 48 my eyes just don t take to irons like they used to but dots are a good solution. This rifle also retains a bad ass profile with a dot.
