Opened the box and the gun looks better in person and felt more solid than I expected given what I had read on here. Nothing was loose and everything appeared to function as intended, nothing looked out of place.

Took the gun out to the range to see what it could do. After some adjustments the sight was dead on with the front post only slightly moved from the center. The gun was more accurate than expected with holes often touching at 25 yds using bulk 115g American Eagle. I can imagine with some practice and a good sight this thing would be plenty accurate within its "effective" range of 100 yds.

The gun is also very compact even with the 18.5'' barrel it is considerably shorter than my Ruger 10/22.

The gun is very fun if you're into having a non-restricted semi with 10 rd magazines. Not to mention it folds and can be transported very easily.

Pro tip: You can use .40 S&W magazines of the appropriate brand and get an additional 3-4 rounds of 9mm legally into the gun. If you have one in the chamber you can rapid fire 14-15 rounds which in Canada really is a novelty, at least I think so.

I feel this gun is one of several guns that draws the ire of posters here so I felt the need to post about my mostly positive experience.

Now for the negative:

*I fired a little over 150 rounds and there was one stove pipe which was no problem to clear and one worse jam that took a few seconds to clear and mangled the brass, I have a feeling these were both cause by me by putting to much pressure on the bottom of the magazine when leaning against a rest, because they only happened when I was doing so. They also both happened in the first 20 rounds so it could have been a break in issue*

The only other negative things I can think of is the price when compared to a similar "fun" .22 which I feel fills the same niche for most of us which is cheap plinking.
