sub 2000 problems

i have a sub 2000 configured to accept beretta mags that i'm having an issue with. i detail stripped it right down, cleaned and oiled everything then put it all back together the way it was. now when you #### the gun and pull the trigger nothing happens, the transfer bar is on the sear but it feels like its just now releasing the hammer

has anyone else had this issue? is something simple here just escaping me?

any help is greatly appreciated

It says in the manual not to dry fire in when your taking it apart, did you maybe do that? If so im sure someone on here can tell you how to fix it

i dont recall dry firing it, but i would like to learn how to fix that issue for future refference anyways

Just got mine, i really , really recommend cleaning it before shooting, the barrel was really bad, not sure if it was powder residue or manufacturing debris, either way it needs a good clean. Also sanded the edges of the magwell.

There are instructions on the internet about how to reset the hammer if it was fired without the bolt in it. Just google it.

He's put it all back together...I don't think he would have been able to insert the bolt fully if the hammer had been released while it was stripped.

So by "detail stripped it right down" do you mean you split the receiver halves or did you just slide the bolt out the back and clean it up then slip it back in?

If it's unfired and you just took the bolt out and cleaned it then put it back together you may need to send it in for warranty.
