Are sub gauge tubes reliable?or should a giy just buy 4 guns for akeet?

I use a three barrel set myself, but most people use Briley tubes, because of the cost savings.

how much skeet shooting do you do ?
3000-4000 rounds in 4-6 months with your 12 ga and you are looking to shoot sub ga events
if your shooting registered targets and want to compete in all gages then tubes are the way to go one gun same fit and feel for all events
as far as quality really a non issue the worlds best shooters use them so you should be good to go

A dedicated skeet gun with sub gauge inserts is nice to have but more guns is never a bad thing.
