Sub-sonic ammo in semi?

Hi,
I still dont know wich one to choose between Marlin 980V and the 7000, but if i choose the 7000, can i use Sub-sonic ammo in it?

My Marlin 60 cycles Rem subsonic fine, but the recoil inertia is inferior to regular high velocity of course.

I have a 980V and it shoots like a hot damn! It really likes Hi-Velocity rounds. With CCI Stingers it groups at 1 1/2" at 100yds! I run the CCI Std. Velocity at 50yds and it groups amazingly!
