Put some subsonics through the good old cooey and at 50 yards I was hitting low. I put some high velocity stuff in and she was back and spot on.

Could the speed of the round make that much diff at such a short distance?

By not realizing that, I think you sort of did... that was like "I am Sam"/Sean Penn full retard... :D

Think about it this way - over a 30% reduction in velocity, with gravity staying the same... yup, it's gonna have a hell of an impact!

It made sense in my head, but people talk about switching back and forth, but I havent heard much reference to resighting.

I went full retard, and went home empty handed.

Makes sense when you hear about Stingers "hitting high"....;)....it's all about how things perform reative to the ammunition you've sighted-in for....:yingyang:

CB Longs have their own sighting-in "peculiarities" altogether....

About 6" low @ 50 yards with CB Longs compared to AE22 is what I've found, if memory serves me right.
