Substitute mag for a Vostok TOZ-17-01

I'm looking for a magazine clip for a Vostok mod TOZ-17-01 bolt action .22lr repeater that I've acquired but is missing this rather useful part.

However I have been unable to locate one yet, does anyone here know if some other model`s mag could be fitted on this rifle? I have a rather well equipped machine shop if some modifications need to be done to a substitute mag. So far, the closest thing that came to almost fitting was a 10-shot mag from a LLama Especial (mod.1911-22lr) pistol. Close but no cigar.

Any help would be appreciated.

Geez. I couldn't even find a picture of one until I dropped the Vostok. Even then there aren't any. Marstar listed 'em a $20 each, but they don't have any either.
Try Elwood Epp's. They tend to have odd stuff that nobody else has.
To make one, you'd need a picture. I wouldn't bother for a low end rifle.

These TOZ magazines seem to be getting scarce. You will find that the Anschutz semi automatic 22 magazine will fit perfectly into the magazine housing on your Russian 22 and only the clip latch retaining notch will need to be carefully cut on the Anschutz clip. Good luck, David.

Thanks for the tip. I e-mailed both businesses this morning and promptly received two replies (great service by the way), both are out of stock. Epp's also mentionned they`ve had them on back order with Baikal Canada for the past six months.
