Designed and built from the ground up at the SIG SAUER research and development facilities in New Hampshire with the input of hunters, military snipers and elite long-range shooters, the CROSS rifle was created to meet the demands of both precision long-range shooting and extreme backcountry hunting. I love my cross. Crazy accurate rifle. I'm looking forward to the ability to swap mine from 6.5 creed to .308. Any idea when the barrels will be available for sale? What cartridge did you take that bear with?

My 5.5mm Cross produces sub-MOA, single-hole, 5-round groups shooting Hornady 147 gr ELD Match. Amazing accuracy for an off-rack rifle!!

Those must be some long bullets. What is the twist rate to stabilize that Mark 1/4"? LOL

Just messing with ya. I know you meant 6.5

Cheers

I adore my Cross in 6.5 Creedmoor. Ultra accurate. No recoil. Superb adjustability. Silky smooth and reliable feeding and extraction/ejection. Collapses down to fit in my day pack. Topped with lightweight TPS rings and a Leupold VX-3HD, a 3.5-10x40mm. I'm hoping to get an extra barrel in .338 Federal or .358 Winchester to smash bears over bait barrels. 210gr or 225gr Partitions for anything the sweet shooting Creed can't handle.

Very cool little rifle and complements my long range and heavy magnum hunting rifles beautifully. Great tool for many jobs (same thing my wife says about me).
