I'm thinking I would like to try some 140 grain accubonds. Unfortunately I do not have a Nosler Reload Manual. Maybe behind either RL15 or RL19. But I'm open to other suggestions on powder? Wondering if anyone has any load data that they wouldn't mind sharing so I can work my own load up with some RL15 or RL19.

Thanks

Couple we use regularly for the 140 AB - 41.0 grs RL-15, CCI200 primer, OAL 2.795" (for my Stevens, can't go any warmer and though the speed isn't quite what we expected, around 2650, the accuracy is great) and for a 700 24" we settled on 40.2 grs IMR4895, same primer, OAL 2.800" giving right around 2790-2800 fps. Again, very accurate, subMOA easily. More powder started to loosen up groups too much, less did the same. A great little cartridge to work with, super easy to load for. Lots of powders worked well and you can shoot the 7-08 all day long it's such a pleasure to handle.

I also use IMR 4350. 46.1 with the nosler boattail shoots like a house afire in mine but my rifle seems to prefer loads in the 2700 fps range. I used to use the grand slams with if I recall correctly 47.5 of the IMR 4350. Now I can't seem to decide between the partition and accubond.

You may want to try W760 or H414 with that 7-08 and the 140 grain AB. I have had great success with these ball powders in several 7-08s. start at 44 grains and work up carefully. Regards, Eagleye

45.3 grains of IMR 4350 with the 140 Accubonds gives me small repeatable groups. Shot out of a stock Remmy 700 CDL. This spring I plan on trying some 46 grain IMR 4350 loads and see how they shoot.
