Suggested non-restricted AR-style

Hey guys. I’m looking to get into tactical and precision guns. I have looked at a few (smith and Wesson m&p15 sport/ bushmaster XM-15), I’m not looking to do any competition shooting or anything crazy. Are there any good entry level non-restricted 223/5.56 ar style rifles guys are using that they recommend?
