Same situation here, I might be interested in going Saturday perhaps we could meet up there and shoot the s**t! (no pun intended) haha
Sorry I missed the followup on this posting Jeri, would have been nice to meet up. Did you make it out there?
I got there around 1130 and left at 230. Absolutely beautiful day to be out.
Overall pretty nice atmosphere, I found the girl at the front desk really nice and informative, answered all our questions before she sent us down to the range area.
They've got 6 range areas for all your disciplines (CF and RF, slugs etc) along with a couple trap fields on the way down.
Range officers were also helpful, and a couple members also nice in offering me the chance to shoot their firearms a few rounds and even offered up his other higher caliber on the other range. He felt it was a really great club but didn't want to bother him too much more while shooting. Seeing that they cater to not only the licensed crowd, the weekends are fairly busy as that is the only day they seem to be fully staffed.
Overall I would seriously consider joining as location is a BIG factor for me, got there just under an hour from 403/HWY10. BTW, google will send you down Snyder which ends in a farmers field. You need to go out further west to Book and head down to Conc #4.
Realistically a couple times a month and the occasional week day works out well $wise for the membership and they're open pretty much all yr round. Might want to check out one more club just to have a base for comparison before committing.
