Some FN-49's were converted to 7.62 NATO, they're probably hard to find, you could convert one yourself.

How about a FN FAL? You'd have to move to the US though.

Have you considered seeing if Brobee's stock/rail adaptor would fit on a .308 Remington 7400 or 750? It seems to fit the 7600 and 7615 going by some other threads, so it looks like it might be doable.
