I'm looking for suggestions for "action" style shotgun targets that could be set up and left for club members to shoot during regular range sessions. They need to be something that won't get blown apart by buck or slugs and that folks with "black" or "tactical" style shotguns will enjoy shooting.
They also need to be durable and relatively idiot proof to protect the "fringe" element from hurting themselves as much as is practical.
These targets would be set up and left for the membership to wander in and shoot on the usual casual basis at one of my clubs.
Part of me wants a side to side flipping target. Like a one shot dueling tree setup. But another part is saying that a plate on a heavy rod that has a spring down low so it just wobbles around when hit is likely going to be more durable for the long term.
