Suggestions for Ruger American Ranch 5.56 rifle

Just got this rifle and need some suggestions for rancge shooting, max distance is 200 yards, pretty much a target shooting rig as I dont hunt with that caliber anyway.

I have a couple 3-9x as well as a 4-12x VX2 I could use, they have duplex reticle. Im temnpted to get either a Nikon 4-12x DOA 600 since they are cheap..

Any suggestions for those who use the same rifle at the ranger ?

I use a Bushnell 10x40 tactical out to 600m. I love the fixed power, glass quality is there and turrets work good. The reticle (mildot) could go on a diet, but it’s not that bad.

Hard to beat a bought and paid for Leupold.

I would slap any spare scope I happened to have on it. Mine wear Leupold 6x42 and a 2.5-10 Mark 2 because they were available. Shooting to 200 yards doesn’t require anything special.

Same rifle as yours I put a Primary Arms SLx6 1-6x24mm SFP, ACSS 5.56 reticle
