Hi Guys,

I recently bought a Leupold VX3 3.5-10x40mm scope. I would like to buy some scope covers for it as it didn't come with any. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mik

I use these by Vortex. Very happy with them

You have to measure your optic (front and back) to see what size you need.

I also use this on the rifles where it might spook the game

I have butler creek see-through covers on my scopes. I've shot 5 deer since I've used the scope covers, and I've only had to take the half a second it takes to flip them open once lol...was raining cats and dogs and I couldn't see through the water on the caps.

I love the Leupold covers on my vx3 they work well, quick to open(no excessive movement when hunting) and look slick but they're EXTREMELY expensive. I'm surprised none of the other scope manufacturers make a similar system. Zeiss only has a rubber cover, I mean ZEISS can only make a cheap rubber boot, Nikon makes a really crappy plastic slip on cover that doesn't stay closed without duct tape. It's ridiculous.

Leupold Alumina covers, only way to go!

They may seem expensive, but really it's no more $ than a couple boxes of ammo, or 1 months insurance on your truck.

As they say: Buy once, Cry once

I use the Butler Creek rubber "bikini" covers. One size fits all and provides the protection and convenience I need.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I went with the majority and bought the leupold alumina covers. My ocd got the best of me and I couldn't put a different brand of scope covers on my scope. Thanks all!
