Another vote for NEAR and Richard. Strongest and lightest 1 piece mount I've ever owned!

Good thread, I’ve thought about a 1 piece mount too. I would pick the scope first, because I would want a custom canted mount. It sounds like Near would be the way to go for that.

Not Canadian, but the ARC rings are the most elegant design currently out there.

Why one piece?

These rings do make sense.

I like how the pressure is applied from 3 directions.

It would probably even be a design improvement to remove some material from the center of the bottom ring so force is applied in 4 places, but that can be done by hand easily enough.
