From what i understand this model isn't made the same anymore, by the curved groves on the slide. Just curious on peoples thoughts regarding price.

Note

this is not the EE

and

Spelling counts ;)

That's the RTF2 model. They were blowing them out for $599. a couple years ago. Probably looking at $500.-$550 used based on condition.

I concur... $500 if in very good shape. The RTF are love/hate, with most in the hate camp. Cops quit issuing them as the aggressive grips were ruining holsters and uniforms.

I'm on the love 'em side of the fence. Who needs to stipple their guns when ya got the RTF grips.

Was just looking at one at the local gun store. $450 no taxes. They also offered 15% off if I bought today. I was only window shopping.

If it's a 9mm 17 it's worth maybe $100 more than a .40 22 (like $600ish instead of $500ish). I like the RTF2 frame a lot, but 22s are quite common, whereas 17s are less so.

thanks for all the feedback. I'll probably be posting this on the EE forum very soon. Gun is in great condition, didn't shoot all that much.

Master G is right on. I believe most of you are under estimating the value. If you have ever shot the RTF2 frame you may find that it is a plus compared to the stand frame, especially in that it's in a Gen 3 configuration. The fish gill serrations are pleasing to the eye ( at least for me) and no difference in functionality to the standard serrations. I much prefer the Gen 3 than the newer Gen 4. I paid $600 + for my mint G17 feel I got a great deal.

Right now gen 3 glocks are around 799$ plus Tx new. Gen 4 are around 850$.

If the gun is in good shape I would say around 640$. Peoples forget that 2 years ago new glocks were 600$ but they are now 800 as the exchange rate isn't the same.

Its the same with all guns. When our dollar will go up prices are going down.

Right, ask $640...because you can still buy them new for around $599. So very much EE....and all you need to do is search. I won't even mention that I just bought brand new Glock 22, with the night sights, but no magazines for $450 off EE couple months ago. I don't know how some of the people are coming up with these asking prices here.

I dunno where you and others are getting your pricing. Show me a link to a dealer on here thats selling them for $599 brand new?

Here are some links that show what they really cost new.
