Which used ones should I consider and which subforum would they be listed in?

Are there any good new ones (non-synthetic stock)?

Lastly, are they legal for hunting small game?

I believe to get a 12/.22 combo you would have to go for a savage model 24..... they show up occasionally in either the shotgun or rimfire section of the EE.....

I have a baikal scout .410/.22 combo that has wood furniture.... nice light carry. for a survival type combo you may want to consider .410 as you can carry more ammo than you can with 12 gauge....
 
Go to tradeexcanada they have used BRNO in 12g and 22imp for good price. I would buy a Hammon gamegetter and you would be set

for almost anything!
 
I took 4 grouse with mine last year.... Just on a trail walk....could have had umpteen squirrel if I wanted them.....

Ridiculously fun to carry...... I take it when I check my trap line and snares....no matter what you get its just really neat to walk the bush with a combo....
