Sulun SPAS-12 – SPAS repro availability for import

M-1 Carbine in .22 caliber by Chiappa has no mechanical similiraty to a real M-1 Carbine .30 caliber, but the RCMP still classified it as a variant and recently ban it anyway.

I have access to the parts drawings for the new turkish spas and a bunch sitting with a friend in europe.

Does anyone here have access to the tac-12 m3 super 90 to compare and measure? It seems possible that at least the stock fits...

Years ago a company made what they called an "MP-5" but in 22LR. It shared no parts with the centerfire MP-5, but because they advertised it as an "MP-5" except in 22LR, it was deemed a variant and made prohibited. Eventually GSG came out with the exact same gun except they didn't advertise it as an MP-5 and it was made non-restricted.

And then went on the be made prohibited.
