Last night, a few of us had an informal 'Summer Solstice Shoot' to enjoy our long shooting light up here.

We started at 9:00PM, and shot wobble trap and skeet. The weather didn't really co-operate with us, as it was overcast and drizzling on and off.

The last round of trap was completed at about 10:40. Had the sky been clear, we certainly could have shot for another 45 minutes or so.

We also had a fire and cooked some hot dogs, and after the guns were put away we cracked a couple of cold ones to salute the changing of the season.

All in all it was a good time, and a fun way to celebrate one of the ancillary benefits of living in the Northern latitudes.

We hope to do it again next year, perhaps a little bigger! :shotgun:

I think there was someone taking pics, I'll try to contact her and see.
I myself only took one of our Trap and skeet chair and his son, and myself and my son.
I think this will turn into a great combined shoot- father's day solstice thing!:)
I wasn't doing too bad at wobble trap with my 28 'till things started getting dark and I ran out of trap ammo!
Brushwads and 9's suck for wobble trap!
All in all it was fun....
We kinda turned this shoot into a Father's day shoot/Summer solstice shoot as well!
next year we will get more advertising out.
We were only to pairs of dads and sons this time - myself and my son, and the T&S chair and his son.
