Last night, a few of us had an informal 'Summer Solstice Shoot' to enjoy our long shooting light up here.
We started at 9:00PM, and shot wobble trap and skeet. The weather didn't really co-operate with us, as it was overcast and drizzling on and off.
The last round of trap was completed at about 10:40. Had the sky been clear, we certainly could have shot for another 45 minutes or so.
We also had a fire and cooked some hot dogs, and after the guns were put away we cracked a couple of cold ones to salute the changing of the season.
All in all it was a good time, and a fun way to celebrate one of the ancillary benefits of living in the Northern latitudes.
We hope to do it again next year, perhaps a little bigger!
