Last week I bought a fabulous shotgun from the EE, a barely used Savage Milano in 20ga.
And so this morning I took her out to play with the Crows with my usual setup- consisting of the Foxpro caller and a plastic garden owl with a fake crow stapled to its claws.
I hid in the bushes and played "Crow fight" for one sequence- and after that the cawing started.. Just a pair of them, one hung up in a tall tree and the guy pictured below was my first gift to the Milano. A cloud of #6 shot intercepted him while swooping in on the decoy and you'll see how it ended..
Just the one today, but a fun time out.
