I have a Sun Optic holographic red dot sight on my shotty and a Sun Optic light/laser combo also.
A lot of features for cheap on both. Around $130 on average. If you want to throw one on a daily shooter/ junker, go for it. Probably won't trust it for a SHTF rifle. You get what you pay for.
I find it hard to acquire the target with the sight in rapid fire. Too small a sight picture for a tactical sight. The laser on the light combo doesn't hold zero after shooting and can be jarred as the adjustment screws are exposed. They look cool and haven't failed...so far!
