Sun Shade

I have been wanting to add a sun shade to my rifle since last years hunting was finished. I have tried pvc with straws. Straws worked very well. But the pvc doesnt hold up well.

I have a Bushnell Trophy series DOA 3x9 x 40mm. Does anyone know where i can find a sun shade that will tread into the scope?

Has anyone done this before, and if so how can i do it besides ordering another scope with sunshade. (keep in mind this is a bush gun/hunting rifle, the shade would be for precision shooting and well LCF)

If the scope is threaded for one call Bushnell to get the exact part number. Then call a few site sponsors who carry Bushnell and see who is willing to order it in

the scope is threaded, but it looks to be for the lens ring. Their are a few more threads available for a shade, and the local shops around here are unsure about shades for bushnell, but they also are trying to get me to buy a diferent scope..lol ill try the bushnell side and see where that gets me.
