I just attended a meeting at the local rec center on Sunday hunting.
The attendance, maybe fifty, was abysmal.
Granted, we pro Sunday types outnumbered the anti's, the place should have been jammed with a few hundred.
Watch for meetings in your area, could be any time of year, the councilors and the mayor in attendance, well, it's really hard to judge what view they came away with.

For those of us hunting in 63A by the way, it's approved for this year. :):):)

Largely, they want a day of the week, when they are "safe" to walk in the bush, on trails etc.
They also have trespassing concerns, as they feel that Sunday hunting will encourage more city hunters into the area, the ones who feel "they can hunt wherever they want"
We actually had a cottage assoc. president there who wanted Sunday hunting, to help deal with the goose #### piling up on their properties.

I was there as well. I could not believe the guy who claimed to be a hunter, and who stated that he and all of his hunting buddies were against the Sunday hunt since that meant they would be busy shooing off trespassers and poachers from their land seven days a week.

Generally, however, I thought that there were some well-spoken arguments on our side. I hope they were listened to and not merely heard.
