Suomi M31

From the romour mill they are TNW product. Price will be around $850 and due to the easy barrel change they will only come with the short barrel only and will be restricted.
They will also come with one stick mag and one drop mag.

Pretty neat really, a Finnish Tommy Gun/PPSH chambered in 9mm. They were used extensively during the Winter War and several countries including Germany made orders.

I have heard no reports on function. I know TNW's MG34 does have it troubles, many were slowly perfected with trigger kits and bolt tune up kits.

Lot's of accesories for the Sunomi right now in the US, mag pouches etc and loaders and everything is dirt cheap.

The real depressing part is the mags will have to be pinned to five rounds. I hope they don't butcher the magazines and cut them down like some SVTs out there.

x2 on both counts. Still as a Finn collector if the rumour is true that will make up for my missing out on a dewalt Suomi. $850 CDN is kinda steep though, right now they are $449 USD at Centerfire Systems.

Nabs there's always the Pietta PPS50 in .22 LR. It has an 50 round drum mag that I believe is unpinned. Not 9mm but I'd bet its would be a blast to shoot and a lot cheaper too!

there are 1001 semi .22LRs options in country already that you can shoot most of them with as big of a magazine as you'd like. They are fun but I'd rather have the real deal in something bigger even if its only with 5rds at a time!!!

Fellow just posted a bunch of pics of what looks to be a brand-new original Suomi, over on milsurps.com.

Worth taking a scoot over just to take a peek.

Lovely gun, if a tad heavy.

Oh, to live in a Free Country once again! (Like this one used to be!)

Thanks for the heads up about that Suomi on Milsurps.com:cheers:

Read some US posts and the range reviews seem good, minus front sight adjustments and a stiff trigger pull.

As far as the price, sadly we seem to have the 20-30% mark-up on all Canadian Firearms. Sadly, I think this is the cost of doing business.

That Pietta does have a un-pinned mag as it is chambered for 22 cal, but even though they call it a PPSH, other than the drum mag, it really doesn't look like a PPSH and is a very rough clone. This new Suomi is a pretty bang on representation of one of the many Suomi variants out there.

Parts kits in the US run for less than $100, so you know there are mark ups on many fronts, but you still have to give Milarm kudos for bringing in some cool looking SA kit that allows us to own some pretty cool looking firearms.
