super clean powder for 9mm

I was at the range yesterday and saw som 9mm casings on the ground, man it looked like they were factory fresh brass never loaded (excepept they had a spent primer in them) they were imaculatly clean inside.

any guess's what powder was used ? Im using win 231 and its not too bad, Ive used worse, but its defn black inside my cases.

Mosy likely u saw WinClean casings. Its no so much the powder as its lead free primers, and enclosed bullet bases. Looks shiney new even after firing...

currently im using winchester 115 fmj (these have open lead base) and cci small pistol primers.

Is there a primer I could switch to to make a difference ? I like the win 115 fmj as they are a good price ($11 per 100 at wholesale) but am willing to change if someone has a sujestion for another bullet thats economical. I was using the hornady xtp bullets, but they are $19 per 100, gets expensive.
