This is for all you Super Sniper owners. Do you think that the extra $100US for the side focus 10X is worth it over the regular focus and if so what makes it better?. This is one of 2 scopes that I have narrowed it down too, for my new rifle.
 
Buy the rear focus one and save the money for ammo or a better scope down the road not that the super sniper is not good. $0.02
 
At one time one of the side focus models was giving some folks a problem...sorry to damn a product with a statement like that but it is a dim recollection (and maybe my imagination) I had when I purchased my 16x SS with rear ocular parallax adjustment. I am very happy with my SS and recommend them (also have personal experience with the 20x and it was excellent as well) ... I would contact SWFA and ask about this issue... they are pretty straight up - and I am sure any issues (IF there really were any) have been corrected. In any event the rear parallax works fine if you decide to save some money... AP
 
Both rear and side focus SS scopes work fine for me. I have 3 of them. I love these scopes right alongside the Bushnell Elite 3200 10X Mildot that HeadDamage sold me. Yeeha.

All good value for the money for many of us that have family members in the shooting game AS WELL. I hooked them ALL ! Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

I have had both the side focus and the rear. Both worked great. I like the side focus for ease of adjustment. These scopes are becoming very popular in the states, due to the low cost. And the feedback is positive. I believe Hakko makes the glass.
 
you cannot. I contacted Swafa It has to do with credit card fraud. If you want one. It has to be purchased other then with an international Credit card, and you have to have it shipped to a US address. Thats how I got mine.
 
Another vote for the rear paralax adjustments. Save the money and put it towards a set of butler creeks or a sunshade ........or a mil dot master if you plan to range with it. Awesome scopes if you can get one.
