I bought a Scorpio EM322A Scorpio rifle. The first thing I do with a new 22 is put a good scope on it and shoot a variety of different brands of 22 ammo though it to see what works best.
Typically, a rifle will shoot best with match ammo and less well with the cheap bulk ammo. It is nice to find a cheap ammo that shoots almost as well as the match.
Included in the test was standard velocity ammo, high velocity and the new super velocity 40 gr bullet ammo. I was surprised at the accuracy of this hot ammo. Accuracy was as good as with the CCI Mini-Mag - the gold standard in high velocity ammo. It would be plenty good for hunting ammo.
Testing was at 50 yards off a bipod and butt bag.
