Has anyone been able to duplicate the loads as far as what powder is used in their Hornady ammo? I remember some discussion and I don't believe it was Superformance powder?

It’s not the superformance powder we can buy. They blend powders for every load in the superformance line. I chronographed their 53gr vmax our of one of my 22” barrels. Was missing about 400fps if I remember right.

I think they crimp the bullet ever so slightly to get it a little boost -

Someone mentioned Winchester 748 worked quite well? Looking for a baseline to get started for some 53g VMax with the focus being on accuracy

Bench rest by hogdon is an accurate powder ..
I would start there
All my rifles like it.. tiny groups in my 204 and 220sw..
My tavor loves the S.P ammo.. fast, flat and good expansion.
