I bought some Superformance powder to load 180gr bullets in my 30-06 for elk hunting in September.

Problem is I can't find any data on it in 30-06 for 150, 165 & 180's. Anyone have it and care to share? I can't find the Load Manual magazine they put out in the stores.

Thanks for your help :)

Update: Just saw Hornady has info in their #8 manual, is it out yet???

Those are proprietary recipy as of now i dont think they are avalable to the public but i shoot 308 and a hot loaded 165 gr SST and Varget at 2850 i cant duplicate the Superformance and it is more accurate ( a real thumper ).... JP.

He's referring to the powder, not ammunition. It is available, made by Hodgdon.

There's no info on Hodgdon's load data website, the only thing I found is this:

Are you sure they have the proper powder to use for 30-06 available?

Hey I just got my handloader mag in the mail and there is the superfromance article with some data! 30-06 165gr 61grs 2828fps 180gr 59grs at 2766fps. That is all they list and assuwe it is max and should be worked up to of course. Oh and they used Fed 210 primers.

Good luck,
Chad

The factory Superformance ammo in 30-06 run easy 2935 fps over my chrony my brother shot 40 rounds of 165 gr SST with an average of 2931 fps, it is a very consistant ammo... JP.
