Anyone know where I can find this Surefire FH556-212A flash hider for sale?

Thanks guys.

DS Tactical won't sell em to regular folk. (On website marked LE only)

You do see them come in occasionally, I think at one point Canadian Tactical Cowboy Supplies has had them, as well as the Equipment Exchange as well.

Why does ds tactical only sell to LE, they're about a 20 minute walk from my place. Its so annoying. Aren't they interested in making sales? I don't foresee the LE crowd lining up to buy their products.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a civilian buying a flash hider for christ sake!

Becauase they are not supposed to be exportable for civilian sales.

So the US will export us just about any gun we want for civilian use but they won't export us a flash hider or muzzle brake. A lot of sense that makes. You can use a gun without a flash hider/muzzle brake but try using a flash hider/muzzle brake without a gun. Go figure, another stupid law. f:P:

^I hear you.

The way I understand it is the brakes are not registered for export to Canada.

Are there some here? Yes, via grey market or via MIL/LE sales. Same as Larue products.

I ended up going with the Griffin Armament brakes, since they have a model that is simmilar to the Surefire 556 model.

Im actually glad I did do it. Price is right, and purchased via forum sponsors.

I found my surefire on the EE years ago. Now that I know better I suspect it may be grey market. Works like a hot-damn though!

If I was buying now I'd give Griffin a very serious look. Honestly I'm surprised they aren't hit for patent infringement on some of their muzzle devices.

Really a flash hider is not exportable for sale to Canadian citizens? My god, what kind of foolery is this... Frankly getting tired of these US export laws.

I don't understand the reasoning behind getting their flash hiders unless you are mounting a supressor to it.
Yes it is effective and yes it looks great but so do many others.

I have one of their muzzle brakes and it is amazingly effective.
Much better than the JP Rifles Benny Cooley brakes.

you just give yourself the reason why getting their flash hiders....... amazingly effective an much better then others brake... thats it... :p

I have one myself MB556K-PN the pinable version ...would like to find the shortest one the MB556K non pinnable...will see...
