SureFire forend LED conversion?

does anybody know if i can convert this system to an LED, like on the G2 model?

I swapped out the KL3 LED on mine...no issues, gotta love Surefire.

Same drop-in for the G2/6P will also work with this.

Model # is Surefire P60L.

are these led conversions any good? i had an led light a while ago and while it was ok for very close distances, anything further than 1-2 meters was god awful! i have a standard surefire g2 now and love it!

The Surefire lights use standard P60 dropins.
The Surefire brand LED's get only 80 lumens but a Ultrafire or similar Q5 dropin is still in the P60 format and gets 200 lumens. Just do a search on E-bay.

The P61L from SF gives a TRUE 200 lumens for about an hour then regulates at 100 lumens for several more...

a search for the 'P61L' returned no results? but there is a P61, but i think it's different than what you're talking about!!?

P61L is not available yet... coming near end of the year.

I have a G2 with LED conversion, just awesome light output! Hard to believe from a smallish flashlight!
