Surefire MB556K or Smith Good Iron Muzzle Brake?

I have learned that most of the time when a vendor tells you that something "can't be brought in" it just means they haven't brought it in or don't feel like doing the paper work. Still worth looking around, and there is always the EE

That said I got my MB556K in a private sale.

Thats what I suspected at first, but I've spoken with a couple of reliable official Surefire dealers... it appears their muzzle devices (flash hiders and brakes) are ITAR regulated and will only be exported with a LE/MIL End User Certificate.

So guess I'll have to EE hunt then.

Cheers.

just finished catching up on ur thread that sucks that the EE is potentially the solution. the gun show here in saskatoon is this coming weekend ill keep this in mind if i find a vendor that specializes in breaks and flash supresors ill b sure to let ya know as im still running my factory break, whitch as we know isnt bad, but the guys in the lane next to me dont like it much lol.

sorry for the late response, the gun show was a flop in the way of black rifles so there were few vendors withs ARs and less who worked on them. So the search continues. keep us updated on you findings! ill do the same.

Slightly off topic but does anyone have experiences with this compensator from SEI? How is it?

I have one being offered to me through a trade and would like to hear some feed back on it.

Thanks
