I am looking to purchase a Surefire X400, but I am wondering about a few things. One I already have a SR dual switch left over from another build where I ended out swapping to a SR-D-IT dual switch to control both my Surefire Scout light and Antipal laser with the same switch. On that setup one button controls the flashlight, and the other switch controls the laser, and that is the same setup Id like for the X400 if possible. So does that SR switch fit the XT tail cap for the X400? It looks like the exact same switch, but I don't see the XT tail cap for sale separate on their site? It would really suck if I have to buy a complete XT07 if I already have the same switch left over....
And my 2nd question is will the XT07 dual switch on the X400 only control the light? And still leave the laser to be manually operated on the X400? If so is there any dual switch combo available for the X400 that will control both the light and laser?
