I have a McMillan a5 I'm putting on a rifle, and it was inletted for a Surgeon.

Can anyone let me know if this bottom inlet is the same as any other makes dimensionally, or do I need Surgeon?

I haven't been able to find any definitive info so far.

Surgeon is its own inlet
An m5 wont work
The closest other than a Surgeon DBM is a KMW which is really close

What would you know about rifles. Before giving advice you should try building a few thousand more of some of the best available! I had a few guns from you that could barely keep the bullets touching one another at three hundred.Haha. I did have a 243 surgeon build that hit a six foot yeti target at one mile 3/5 in high wind. 22 feet of hold in a registered PRS match in the US. Amazing rifles!!

The sides of the Surgeon inlet are flared out - so there are gaps too big to fill and look good
The portion around each action screw is slightly smaller on the surgeon inlet so material would need to be removed
