Surplus Jericho 941 Slide Stop Spring.

Has anyone bought a surplus Jericho that doesn’t have the slide stop return spring in place or not working? Mine has to be manually disengaged. Pull the slide to the rear and it just stays in place? Probably a stupid question I know

I don't believe there is a slide stop spring, atleast not In my Jericho's. It's magazine follower driven

Same as a 1911, that is how it is intended to release. Either manually, or, slingshot the slide with a round in the magazine (and pointed in a safe direction ).

Well, he shouldn't be able to slingshot the slide on an EMPTY magazine? Not if the magazine is doing its part in holding the slide release up anyhow?

Holds open with an empty mag just fine and won’t slingshot. My question was basically seeing that my other 3 pistols will release the slide stop while locked back and empty on rearward pull of the slide, one being a CZ75, what the difference was, or was there an issue/Israeli modification or something basically.
