Surplus mauser m48 8mm 23.6'' yugo zavasta - hand selection

Due to high demand, Wolverine will be offering a “special” select on the M48 Mausers.

Please keep in mind that these are not being graded as that can be VERY subjective. The offer will be an additional $50.00 over the standard retail price of $749.95, and by paying this additional fee the Wolverine Sales staff will be going through and hand selecting the best looking available unit out of the available units presented to them at the time. We will not be hand selecting through hundreds of firearms, however we will keep a reasonable and manageable rolling amount presentable to choose from.

We believe this to be the fairest and most reasonable way to choose one. *IF* special instructions are offered, such as the request for a darker stock, or perhaps a lighter stock we will do our best to accommodate. HOWEVER, if there are special requests, these take precedent over all other variables so that your request is followed.

It is imperative to note as well, that the special select fee is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance.

Are these stamped M48 or M48A under the Yugoslavian crest? Could we request matching assembly numbers on the receiver, barrel and underneath the bolt handle? These are different from the serial number that is stamped on the receiver and top of bolt handle in case anyone was wondering.

They have both stamps, they are mixed.

You can request it, but we are not guaranteeing anything. Also we will not be disassembling guns to confirm details, we can look at the bore, check the receiver to the bolt, stock, and anything else but we will not be removing barrel bands, taking the stocks off ect..

How many of these M48s are left? I've got some insurance money coming in but haven't received the check yet. I'm thinking one of these rifles might be a good use for some of the money.

Ohhhhh Barney.... Don't threaten me with a good time. If you organize a CQB for milsurp, I'd be there in a heartbeat!!

Mine showed up yesterday, I got an M48A and everything was beautiful. The stock looks brand new with no marks dents or scuffs and the metal finish was pristine, the only spot I found with any wear was the bolt face, haven't checked the barrel yet still need to clean it.

Save time and elbow grease just put in the dishwasher for minimum of 3 full cycles and that is all you need to do :)
