My elderly aunt passed away last year and my cousins found a file box of my uncle's ammo in the back of a closet. It got missed when his guns and ammo were cleaned out when he passed some 20 years ago. 5-6 boxes of 70's era lead birdshot 12ga, about 30 loose 30-06 SP headstamped Dominion and a bunch of 42 and 43 headstamp 303 along with some post war SP 303. The interesting thing to me was this 20rd box of Winchester 303 marked "not for use in aircraft" 😁

Anybody know if it's collectable? 19 rounds in the box so maybe it took at least one deer or moose sometime in the 40's or 50's

My understanding is that these were boxed military ammo when they were finishing up but it would depend on what the head stamp says.

Nobody should be using "Full Patch", which is FMJ ammo, for hunting big game, this stuff is for plinking.

No idea what the value would be, also found a box when my grandpa passed, it is in my collection and staying there. :)
