surprizing .41 ammo find

I went to our friends in Red Deer yesterday , went in to Wolverine guns and tackle and noticed a bunch of .41 mag ammo on the shelf . 4 differant kinds Fed red box , Fed fusion , winchester and remington HTP . Kinda restarted my interest in getting a .41 Blackhawk.

I've thought about 41 mag for a while, but the lack of any kind of variety in bullets (even component bullets) and the fact that there seems to be less every year has put me off. I have zero interest in casting or even shooting lead bullets so I think I will keep it on the back burner unless a nice 41 snub or 4" comes up

I bought one then found out ammo almost couldn't be found. It may be the reason I started reloading. In the 6 years I had it, I've seen ammo in a store once, $56/box, and a full box at a gun show once, not much cheaper. I enjoy shooting it more then my 44 mag (both SBH/BH), but aftermarket grips on the 41. I grab bullets every time I see them in the store. They seem way more common then loaded ammo. I have managed to get enough brass from the EE to do me to the end.
