Survival Rifle Cal .22 M4 Stock Worth?

Just wondering if anyone knows the worth of a WWII era green-grey parkerized " Rifle Survival Cal .22 M4" telescoping stock?

I do know the rifles themselves were produced as survival rifles in .22 Hornet for era military aircraft. Due to a short barrel [14" I believe] & telescoping stock, the guns themselves are "restricted", when complete.

A barreled action [receiver] fits into the stamped steel stock which has a telescoping buttstock. There are no markings on this stock other than in the pics:

i saw one of these at an edmonton gun show a couple of years ago and it was going for about 700$ or so.

Likely for the complete rifle, that is stock with the barreled action, though right?

I just have the stock, as pictured above & am looking for a ball park value in case I decide to list it in the EE.

I know that there were M4 survival carbines like the one you show built in Canada in the 1950s. They were part of the sabre Jets survival kit.
I have only seen complete M4 survival rifles for sale on EE twice. The asking price was inflated both times, I am guessing complete rifles went for $1k. I have never seen parts for sale, or parts WTB. I suppose that interest for the stock only would be to fix a bubba'd original rifle, or to add to a totally different gun (a shame). I would say $200 - $400.

I've seen completes on some online dealer sites from time to time in the $550-$600 range.

also, probably worth mentioning that because the stock is only going to be useful to a very few select people who have a good condition upper barrel etc assembly without a proper stock, as these aren't really kicking around in high numbers.

Realistically my opinion based on dealers and gun shows and auctions (I havent used the equip exchange on here, so no idea what people pay on that thing) would be that this probably isn't worth much more than $60-$100, and even then, only to a very specific person that has a need for it, as most people aren't likely to want to keep this kind of extra part stocked in case they one day find a piece that will need it. It just isnt likely unfortunately.

Just my humble 2 cents, and I could be way off from the norm on canadian gun nutz, but like I said, I havent used the equip exchange, so I have no idea what kind of prices are typical for selling via it.
