SV-99 Sniper Rifle

I was browsing and noticed this one

It's a .22LR Silent Sniper Rifle used by the Russian Police. Whitout the Silencer, it has a 13in bbl, but the rifle's one meter long. Does anyone import them?

Just curios what a .22 police sniper rifle be useful for? Clear pigeons out of the Red Square at the Kremlin?

The IDF has been VERY VERY successful in using suppressed .22 RF rifles for counter terrorist work. The low signature makes it hard for the PLO types to know where the shot came from. A sweetly placed .22 shot can make you just as dead as a .338 Lapua afterall.

actually, i've read articles in the past about police forces and even special forces in the middle eastern countries using modified ruger 10/22 rifles as "hush puppies". pick up on the nickname?

Russia doesnt export any firearms that are adopted by their military.

Buy an Izmash here in Canada and make your own. As an alternative convert a 10/22 to something similar.
