You're better off watching Brian Enos or one of the US auction sites. You can budget on $400.00 in fees, taxes and shipping (approx 12 weeks). A decent custom built Open gun, excluding magazines, can be found from about US$2300.00 upwards. So, all in, you can find one for close to US$3,000.00.
Is it worth it? Depends on what you want. A new STI Trubor will cost you about $3,000.00 plus magazines, and excluding any customisation. In the end it ends up around $4,500.00 plus. The risk of a used gun, is that you have to trust the seller.
