Im in the process of polishing my bolt carrier (don't worry, it's not a collector SVT) and i was wondering if i should stop there or remove the bluing on the bolt as well seems to me like the firing pin channel was also blued and i doubt i can get it polished enough in there to resist corrosion.
Should i give it a go on the bolt too or will i run into issues with rust? my sks bolt was blued and is holding up well, i leave the pin channel dry and the outside well lubed tho.
