svt-40 buttstock measurement,to see if it's been cut down or not.

can somebody tell me what is the measure of an original svt-40 buttstock,as shown in the pict?a good friend of mine who owns one wants to knows if his buttstock have been cut down a bit before bubba installs a nice rubber recoil pad...or not.the svt on this picture is not the involved rifle.

My 1940 Ishvek sporting a naval stock, measures 11 7/8 inches. My 1941 Ishvek measures 11 3/4 inches.
